Photography is part of my everyday life. As much as I have been exposed to making images more than anything else in my life I really committed to my practice when I left University of East Anglia Law School and pursued a BA in Photography at the London College of Communication. I was very into the liminal zone between physical and digital. Being exposed to critical contemporary image making theory I slowly gravitated towards video. Starting my career in London was great and extremely grounding professionally. After a brief period of travel post graduation I took on technical work in order to expand my skillset and experiment with different forms of expression. Spending a considerable amount of time training with artists and professionals I’ve built strong foundations cantered around traditional techniques informed by modern technology. Developing a strong studio practice and means of production @1200mx Studio opened in the heart of Paris as the base for the current creative chapter. Several projects from the archives are integral to the work I am making today though aren’t necessarily I am trying to make right now. I see this moment as dedicated to reflecting on echoes of old ways of thinking. This only to better make new, original, striking and ever relevant photographs.
